My wife and I dined at Thomson's Reserve 2 evenings ago whilst enjoying our stay at the New Inchcolm Hotel. Our experience was in contrast to that of the last reviewer. Our dinner commenced with an absolutely beautiful Amuse Bouche of Beetroot Marshmellow and Blue...More

Brisbane is not a city known for good hotels. After much research, I chose this hotel as all of the other options seemed unacceptable. The Good: A nice boutique hotel with quirky aspects like an old elevator that has been modernized. I got a deluxe...More

Food was delicate but also full of flavour. Not the most generous portions but good range of options. Extensive wine list, great service & lovely ambience. A great find in Brisbane - will definitely return.

Great dining experience. Not the usual hotel restaurant meal. Stayed at the Incholm and had a great dinner there with a wide range on wines to match. The kingfish sashimi and roast suckling pig were standouts

It's always reliable. The food might be a bit fussy for some but proper service and fine dining never goes out of style. Good wine list, and cool quiet location on the fringe of the CBD.

We decided to dine at Thomson's Reserve after a glowing review in a Brisbane magazine. As dumb as this sounds, I am always drawn to anywhere there is a table cloth as it speaks volumes to me about my anticipated dining experience and Thomson's Reserve...More

Named after Dr Thomson, who was known for 'reserving' his judgement until he had proof, like a high quality or reserve wine, Thomson's Reserve Restaurant provides the quintessential experience. Our chefs source the best local, sustainable, organic produce available to create a well-balanced seasonal menu which is complimented by our wine list which features a select range of local and international wines. Guests can choose to dine socially with The Socialite's Delight, a selection of share plates filled with canapes, a favourite in our hotel's heyday but served with a modern twist. Or let us wait on you and meet your every need, providing the very best elegant dining experience. Our philosophy is to always provide the highest quality food and service, without exception. This extends to our signature dishes, including our signature breakfast, The Healthy Highland (Fling) - a wholesome, nutritious breakfast of cleansing green juice, superfood grain muesli, fruit and yoghurt, and for those with a naughty streak, bacon-wrapped sausages.
