I tell everyone that Merlo coffee is the best - better than coffee in Melbourne and Italy. I have been going there regularly since it opened in the early 90's and never had a complaint. It is just delicious coffee.

Love the concept behind this cafe. Very easygoing atmosphere. Quick, but good service. I used to sit down with a good friend of mine and chat forever. They also have a loyalty card and if you get 10 coffees, you can get one for free!
I am a fan of coffee. And their coffee was not a pleasure to drink. Waitresses were a bit sleepy but friendly. The place is dirty. The orange and almond cake was fine but $4.50 is too much for an undustrial non-home-made cake.
