Love our local bistro. Consistently great food and excellent service. Our latest visit featured duck a l’orange. Superb.

Our first visit to Cinco and we certainly weren’t disappointed. The restaurant decor is tasteful and the food was equally tasteful and delicious. I had the baked cheese soufflé as a main course and it was exceptional. We will definitely return on our next visit...to Brisbane.More

The food at this suburban bistro is lovely and the wine list is really impressive. The staff are attentive but I thought it was a little pricey.

We decided to try somewhere other than one of our regular lunch stops and we were not disappointed. The bistro has an excellent ambience, paid attention to current Covid regs and staff were well masked up. Service was prompt and the meals were excellent. Lots...of flavour and well presented. Our first visit was very enjoyable and I shall have no hesitation in recommending this to my acquaintances.More

Cinco is just around the corner from our home however for some reason we haven’t been there for years but based on our visit we will be back soon. The restaurant is always busy and for good reason as everything we ordered was fantastic and...the service was great.More

Great unpretentious European vibe with foodie gatherings from families with young (very well-behaved) children to date night couples. Simple, elegant, food and great service. Have no idea why it has taken me so long to try it - I will be back for sure.

My wife and I are regulars at Cinco Bistro and their food is very, very good. It’s nice to have a suburban restaurant with their quality and BYO. Tonight though, they lost my future business. We placed an Uber Eats order as we have a...4 mth old just before 6pm for a 7:30-8:00pm delivery, and at 7:00pm it was cancelled because they were ‘too busy’. I had opened a special and very expensive bottle of wine that I now have no food for. When I called for an explanation, they just said ‘sorry, we’re busy’ and offered nothing in the way of recompense despite my explanation of the circumstances. Our order wasn’t small either … full three sources. I will find it very, very difficult to be a customer of Cinco Bistro again in future. If you’re going to cancel because you’re busy, then don’t be on Uber Eats.More

I booked a table online on the prior Tuesday with a question in the comments field regarding food selection from both menus. The booking was confirmed to me electronically a couple of days later. However two hours before we were due to dine on the...Saturday we were called and told we couldn’t sit inside the restaurant...I understand the policy but why not tell me before the day, the question was posted 5 days earlier. We arrived and the outside setting wasn’t the best (I wasn’t aware of the dual carriageway and the lack of alfresco heating) so we all decided to eat from the a la carte menu and sought assistance to transfer inside. We were then advised that our original table had been allocated to someone else and we wouldn’t be ‘permitted’ to sit inside. An interesting choice of phrase by the waiter. We decided we had no real options so sat down outside where our linen napkins were swapped for paper napkins and then back to linen. We proceeded to order from both menus and the entrees were delivered promptly and were good. The mains of quail and a pasta dish were then delivered. A little while later the two pizzas were delivered and we asked where the sides were for the quail. After a further delay the chips then came out and a short time after that the green beans were delivered. Unfortunately the quail had been eaten by the time the sides arrived! This was raised with the waitress who advised she would relay this issue. We completed our meal and asked for the bill. At this point the manager came out to apologise for the earlier issue with the table. He did however suggest that we should ring when booking to clarify. I suggested the the electronic booking gives me every opportunity to add comments and that my question had been answered several days after you confirmed my booking electronically. Why have an online booking system if the recommendation is to always ring? We also mentioned the late delivery of the sides in this discussion and we were told we should have raised it directly with him. Why? We made the waitress aware and she advised she would relay the message...obviously there was a breakdown in communication! Frustrated with the night we paid our Bill in full and left cold and disappointed with our experience. I have raised the issue by email twice to Peter who chooses not to respond.More

Went to Cinco with 2 friends on Saturday night. We are locals and have been there on a number of occasions in the past. Mains were lovely, sides (salads, vegetables), no better than satisfactory. We ordered 2 "fine apple tarts" between the 4 of us...to share. What a tragic and sad dessert. A piece of puff pastry, some apple syrup, caramel syrup and scoop of ice cream. Where was the apple? Seriously, desserts need to be better than that. A disappointing end to an otherwise quite good meal.More

Staff we excellent & very attentive , drink orders were taken & bought to the table very quickly . The food we ordered was 1st class & served piping hot to our table absolutely delicious . Nice touch was the chef coming to the table...to ask how how evening was ..... will be back again for sure .More

We hadn’t been for a number of years and in the last two months we have been twice, and took our friends Who absolutely loved the food and wine. With so many places so inconsistent it’s nice to return and get great service and top...the range food, my wife had the steak and it was of amazing quality, if you lobe prawns this place has an amazing entree with an amazing sauce, you won’t be disappointed with CincoMore

So we arrived at the right time and were seated. No one came near us....I flagged down a waiter and he took a cocktail order. 20 minutes later I had to go up to the counter to ask to see the boss. I complained that...we wanted our drinks and to order food. A waiter appeared and took our food order. The cocktails appeared, they had forgotten one...... Waiter came back “sorry we’ve run out of fish”..... then we noticed a table that had been seated after us had ordered their food before us and had got the last of the fish grrrrrr..... The food came. Absolutely delicious! We ordered desert and more cocktails. One desert and one cocktail turned up. Finally had to wave at staff behind counter who were drying glasses and asked where the other desert and cocktail were. It was clear they had been overlooked.... Worst service I have experienced in a restaurant that cost over $500 for dinner for 4.... but the food was excellent!More
