We ordered way to much food and wasn't cheep by any means but was worth every cent. Cannot fault them for anything and going back to try Sukiyaki Hot Pot.

We had a booking for the Teppanyaki, sat down to make choice for dinner and drinks. Got to the Saki list - was horrified to see the cheapest 720ml bottle was $108, a good regular one we enjoy is the Dassai 50 this was $108. We have this often when dining Japanese, typically we pay about $60 for a bottle.... More

I had teriyaki salmon, teppanyaki salmon, eel and salad. I liked the salmon, especially with teriyaki sauce as it tasted salty with a bit of a sweet flavour.

Such a lovely dining experience! It was my first time visiting here and we went with my friend and husband. I think the biggest thing we were amazed about was just how big the meals were. Was very good value for money. I had such a large selection and the flavours were fantastic. Staff were very friendly. Great stuff. Would... More

Gone past this restaurant a thousand times and have always wanted to go in but never did. BIG mistake, this place is fantastic, love the floor seating, really friendly staff and fantastically authentic japanese cuisine. We didn't do the BBQ option but will be partaking next time for sure. Will be back very soon

Very nice place and friendly and fast staff. Lots of Asians visit the place so food is close to original taste of Asian food. Nice to see and cook Your own food. Great selection of sake also. Recommend.

Under new ownership! We were visiting from USA and came here when another place had too long a line. Our chef was Xee (pronounced Z) and he is an amazing Teppan Chef! I ordered meal A, my fiancé had the Teppan Chicken and he ate my fish and a few bites of my steak as meal A was just too... More

Sadly, we stumbled across Riki on our last day in Carins or else I'd eat here every day! Riki has AWESOME lunch specials that are different every day, but a great value every time. We got the teriyaki and katsu bento box. There's so much food! On top of the teriyaki chicken and katsu, you get miso soup, fruit, a... More

Because Cairns restrateurs hugely overcharge for wine, it was the BYO sign that initially caught my eye. Once inside, Riki delivered a bucket of ice for our own bottle of chardonnay. We each ordered the day's special which was a bento box with ample serves of chicken teriyaki, tuna & kingfish sashimi, tempura veg, miso soup, rice and all the... More
