A great book shop & cafe, with some delicious homemade meals and treats. Plus the bonus of it being a great little bookshop with all the new releases and many other very interesting books can be found digging further into the shop, with a quiet reading area at the back. A great place to spend some time when it's bucketing... More

We visited here every day during our five day stay. The coffee was delicious (for those with regular tastes), and there was lots of choice for our daughter who likes exotic milks/coffees. The cakes were homemade and tasty. The outside seating area is comfortable and ideally placed for viewing the high street (if you're not reading a book!) We did... More

Lovely atmosphere where parents and children can sit and enjoy coffee or something to eat. We came here a few times to have iced lattes. The gorgeous and colourful cushions on the wooden chairs made for cozy seating. There were some great books to browse through or buy, The coffee was great and the service was prompt. Excellent if you... More

A great place if you're on the road in Port Douglas, good coffee and you can relax reading books while you eat, access the internet and listen to the birds, I'll be back soon

Our whole family enjoyed this incredible friendly bookshop/cafe. We settled down with some coffee and tea to relax and read. Great atmosphere and a vast selection of books with a friendly staff, made this experience great for our family.

I normally grab a coffee no matter the temperature of the day but this time I needed a cool drink. We ordered ice chocolates and ice chai lattes with a vanilla slice and pear and walnut cake. All were delicious!

This shop has a lot to offer not just books but things to go with the books,eg a stuffed "hungry caterpillar" to go with the book. Also nice coffee and cakes.
