Ordered the starters and 2 mains with my partner. The starter, which was beef with polenta and bean sprouts with other vegetables, was brilliant and wonderfully balanced. I had the pork tenderloin while my partner had the wagyu bolognese. The generous portion of bolognese was satisfying. I personally wouldn't say it's the highlight of the menu but it hit the... More

This was the first place we tried for dinner in Port Douglas based on a recommendation. We were sat in a very nice outside dinning area; however, we were sat at a table next to a family with a couple of noisy children at it; which at times, was a little annoying. Fortunately for us and other around us, after... More

We make sure we always dine at ZINC every time we come to Port Douglas. Both the food and wine selection is way above par and service in absolutely exceptional. We had a number of food options as my good wife is vegan. Any changes to menu for her were absolutely no issue for chefs and they produced an incredible... More

Very friendly waitress helpful with recommending sites and other eating places. She even brought us some extra spoons when eating the leftover chocolate from the fondue desert.

We ate here three times in 10 days which probably says it all. Excellent food in a nice open air setting.

Food was nice, but nothing outstanding. Service considering only 1 other person in restaurant was slow

We ate dinner here recently. We had the pate to share (which would have fed 4 people). The steak was delicious, as were the vegetables. It is a bit pricey but we had a discount voucher. There is a nice ambience - you can sit outside or inside and there is easy listening music. Take a trip to the bathroom... More

It was a Sunday night and they were not that busy. The service was first class, helpful and friendly. There were 4 of us and everyone reported that their meals were excellent. I think that the beef tenderloin probably won the day, but the kangaroo salad was highly rated. Quite large serves, but excellent flavours. A feature of Zinc is... More

Enjoyed a dinner here 2 days ago. Waiting staff engaged and attentive. Food top quality and value. Wine good and reasonable compared to other local restaurants. After sharing the bread and oils starter, my wife loved the local market fish of the day mains and I had the seared barramundi. Both excellent meals. Nothing not to like.

One of the many fine dining establishments in Port. Casual but elegant atmosphere, with a great cocktail bar and excellent food.
