Often have kunch here with a group of friends. we love the freshness of the food and the choices of local products (like Lobethal milk). Chairs are hard is only criticism. Good coffe too. Near city in Melbourne St. A lovely relaxing place we always enjoy

Exthellent Ethel indeed with the gorgeous Chanel serving us for breakfast. We met old friends here for a wonderful time. Gluten free stuff for my wife. Exthellent coffee with honey supplied. And the place has wonderful locally crafted gifts. Even stuff made in Tasmania. Would have hit 5 stars except for one clunky server who did not serve from the... More

I've been there about 11am and even if was full, was quiet, customers was not too loud ( which is always good). This place is amazing, Is quiet because is not on the streets but in the corner, their music is fantastic, not very often you can listen Eddie Vedder and the Pixies in a cafe and was a great... Only discovered recently as it is tucked away in a hidden corner off Melbourne St. Salads divine and amazing cuppa tea, the friendliness is outstanding. Great shop and jewellery for extra therapy!

Honestly the only place I will go for my morning coffee now. Have never had a bad one, staff are always cheery and friendly even first thing in the morning! Coffee is beautiful, plus they know how to do soy milk properly! Food is absolutely divine as well, and unlike anything else on offer in Melbourne Street/North Adelaide. Staff just... More

Not sure if it should be found too easily as it is, as another reviewer suggested, a hidden treasure. It was our 2nd visit - 12 months apart - and it was as good as remembered. I had the bagel with avocado - wish I could have it for breakfasts most days! Coffee was good. Wheelchair accessible. Very focused and... More

E for Ethel is at the back of a carpark on Melbourne Street, but we had eaten here very happily last time we were in Adelaide & had no problems finding it. The breakfast menu is interesting, the staff are good without being intrusive, there is free wi-fi & we have never felt pressured to leave once we had finished... More

E for Ethel is my favourite place for coffee at any time of the day. Their coffee is I think the best in Adelaide and I have tried a lot of places. Not saying I'm a coffee addict just like good beans well roasted and excellent baristas. The menu is varied and plenty of vegetarian choices. However my favourite indulgence... More
