Went here for a late dinner (hard to do in Adelaide on a Tuesday) and we're seated immediately even though they were packed out and flat out busy. The wait staff were super friendly and helpful without being annoying and were honest when I asked how long it would take for a pizza to arrive. When it did arrive, it... More

Well done guys, really good Italian food, we've appreciated so much spaghetti alla puttanesca and pasta amalfitana! Good wine and big plates, we suggest to try this central restaurant! Buon ristorante con cibo che si avvicina molto alla cucina italiana doc! Consigliato

Delicious! Warm friendly. Busy at opening time on a Saturday. Would recommend booking. Great wines and delicious food.

I went here with a couple of friends on a Saturday night and it was bustling. Delicious smells and a noisy busy atmosphere greeted us when we walked in. I had the con pollo with apricot pepper cream sauce and it was fabulous. I'm a sucker for a creamy pasta dish and this was full of unexpected but impressive flavours.... More

Visiting Adelaide my work colleagues urged me to go to Amalfi. It might be an iconic destination but is not great by any means. Pretty standard run of the mill Italian food that doesn't excite. Australia is a really expensive place to eat out. $25 plus for a plate of pasta !!! If I come back to Adelaide I won't... More

Cousin told me in the 90s this place rocked. Food seemed to be on that era too; before Australia got good Italian food. Food wasn't awful - it just didn't transport you to Roma or Napoli. Pizzas didn't match up to Husbands - too bready. Wine was good. Place was busy. Meals generous.

I have lived in Adelaide for over 30 years had heard good reports about Amalfi, (also of the same longevity) but never eaten there. Stuck in a time warp like many Italian restaurants, both decor wise and food styling, it was disappointing. I can do oldé worldé just fine, but if the service is not up to par then the... More

I've been to Amalfi many times over the years - it's a reliable venue with simple but very good pasta, risotto and pizzas. I've never had a bad meal there, but had lots of great food and laughs there - the atmosphere is lively and the service is brisk and friendly

Way away from being Italian cuisine , pizza couldn't have had more salt . Service was acceptable but we don't go out for dinner to experience the service . Can't beat fresh produce and they certainly need to review this option . The salads would have been 4-5 days refrigerated and the prochutto was awful. Stay away until you hear... More
