Very busy little Chinese restaurant. Fast service, average food. Tried the Tea duck, BBC & pork ribs. Would recommend the duck.

The food here is great, and cheap for the size of the portions. Try the BBC and shallot pancakes. I was hesitant on both but reassured by my friend who is a local and has this amongst her favourite places in Adelaide and they were truly delicious. The carafe of house win is just $12 or thereabouts and the rose... More

My husband and I have been going to Ying Chow for ten years. It's easily our favourite on Gouger, but there are a few tips for newcomers: Arrive early; it opens at 5. Get there early and avoid waiting. Don't expect fine dining or the lemon chicken/ sweet and sour pork style of Chinese food; this is more street-style and... More

This restuarant was recommended by people we met in Adelaide who are in the food and tv\food industry. Was advise its hectic but was given a list of food to order. Well all I can say is WOW. If you are a fan of cockles or vongole in Italian, you would have a great time enjoying this special dish at Ying Chow Restaurant. We had a serve of this wonderful dish cooked with sweet chilly at Ying Chow and wanting to have more soon!

Still tastes scarily like dog meat.... The dog meat was also undercooked, so not only didn't i get duck, what i got was not properly cooked!

Every time we visit friends in Adelaide we come to Ying Chow for Beggars Chicken, BBC, tea smoked duck, black fungus, jellyfish and eggplant. We have never been disappointed, it's always excellent, service is typically Chinese.

We had a mixed fried rice, chicken with cashew nuts and steamed pork dumplings and we were impressed. It's a no-nonsense place with good food and fast service. It's always full of people and you'll have to wait for a table on weekends but its worth it. Reasonably priced and very delicious. The dumplings weren't our favourite but we couldn't... More
