Admittedly we didn't think to make a reservation for lunch on a weekday. Wrest Point has events all the time. It didn't even dawn on us that they would split their staff to service those going to the event on the upper floor. As a...More

Booked the table so that we had a window seat which have lovely views and were warm in winter. Service was efficient and accurate. Menu was reasonably diverse and not too expensive. Wine list was good and had a Pinot Noir. I had the pizza...More

We all enjoyed the evening in this great eatery, meals were moderately priced, but delicious. My T bone was very well cooked, just to my liking and the accompanying vegetables were tasty.

Ate an evening meal here prior to a show. They do have a special going for people attending a show but we chose from the menu. Good variety of foods on the menu to choose from. Service good, friendly. Setting lovely overlooking the river. Food...More

Enjoyed dinner here with a colleague. The service was very good and the view from our table was sensational over the Derwent. I had the Porthouse steak with Jus and a garlic butter accompanied by shoestring fries and a side of Rocqueforte salad. The steak...More

A delicious menu which satisfied us all. Entree, breads, small mains, large mains, pizza, desserts, cheese platters and whiskey platters. Large mains do not need sides of fries or more vegetables. Bread was a reasonable size quite suitable for two. Lamb rump was requested to...More

Excellent fresh seafood and comfortable. A bit noisy with below average service. Could be much better.

Hi mate , thanks for your review. We had a similar bad experience on the same dish, as well as on my wife's dish. My mash, had no garlic flavour, was luke warm and the broad beans were cold. The approach of the staff was unacceptable. Two people hundred $? I'm better off at Mures.

There’s waterfront dining, then there’s Pier One Restaurant. On a sunny day out on the deck, you could almost dip your toes in. This casual, bright Hobart restaurant is your place to sit with a chilled Tasmanian sparkling, good friends and delicate oysters.

There’s something about dining in Hobart right by the water; interesting full flavour fare and plenty of seafood goodness. Why not share something from the Light Menu - everything from local cheese plates to exquisite Tasmanian seafood pizzas. Pier One is Wrest Point Tasmania’s definition of relaxed, quality dining by the water’s edge.

Open from 11am daily until late

Lunch from 12pm

Dinner from 6pm
