Beautiful weather, a table outside, stunning views and excellent food and wine. I wonder if there is much more one can ask for - apart, of course, from wonderful family and friends to share it with! As always, the greeting at Pier One is very...More

Couldn't get into the The Point, so this was our second choice. Wasn't disappointed, we had a lovely dinner.

Had dinner at Pier One with my wife and her sisiter 2 weeks ago. The view is wonderful. The food excellent and the service extraordinary. Pier One is the mid-priced restaurant at Wrest Point. The famous revolving restaurant is pricey, but Pier One is good...More

I've had much better pub meals than the dinner my husband and I had here. My pork belly was burnt, the salad that came with the quail was inedible (who wants to eat brown rice with rocket and grapes with no dressing), the quail itself...More

We were staying at the Wrest Point and had two meals here. Because we were in a group we had a special menu but still with a good choice. They also have a very good cellar.

Hi mate , thanks for your review. We had a similar bad experience on the same dish, as well as on my wife's dish. My mash, had no garlic flavour, was luke warm and the broad beans were cold. The approach of the staff was unacceptable. Two people hundred $? I'm better off at Mures.

There’s waterfront dining, then there’s Pier One Restaurant. On a sunny day out on the deck, you could almost dip your toes in. This casual, bright Hobart restaurant is your place to sit with a chilled Tasmanian sparkling, good friends and delicate oysters.

There’s something about dining in Hobart right by the water; interesting full flavour fare and plenty of seafood goodness. Why not share something from the Light Menu - everything from local cheese plates to exquisite Tasmanian seafood pizzas. Pier One is Wrest Point Tasmania’s definition of relaxed, quality dining by the water’s edge.

Open from 11am daily until late
