We came across the Shamrock as we were staying nearby. The staff are very friendly and the pub food was very good value. Many other places in Hobart we found expensive for what you get, you certainly cant complain about $10-$14 roasts, steak and schnitzel....More

Just arrived in Hobart and wanted to have a look around late in the afternoon and find somewhere to eat. This very understated old pub served great meals, good value and close to our accommodation a nice little find.
