The interesting menu attracted our attention and the potato rosti with smoked salmon and spinach was ok but in hindsight I should have had the french toast. The hollandaise sauce was lovely, with just the right amount served.

Unfortunately coffee was awful and I ordered the acai bowl which was... inedible. I'm not actually sure what they did here but it was a bitter, watery bowl of slop. I will take some responsibility. I should have ordered something more 'run of the mill' at a place like this. Bacon and eggs may well have been decent but I... More

It shouldn't be difficult to get eggs, toast and bacon right. This is stuff people can easily make in their house to a decent standard. I felt disappointed and I wasted my money. My partner ordered pancakes and they were quite rubbery. I don't recommend.

This place used to be great. The staff and the menu were slick but sadly not any more. Thick tough rubbery pancakes. Nowhere near good enough. Ordinary toast, ordinary eggs Benedict, ordinary everything ... really Zum? The best you can do?

Good location and decor. That's where it ends Arrived early on a Sunday morning and place order. Waitress made us feel like we were doing her a favour. Food took 30 minutes to arrive even though only one other patron. Food was huge portions and trying to be too fancy. Daughter ordered baked bens be the bacon, toast and eggs... More

Zum is in a great space in Salamanca. It has a relaxed feel and plenty of seating. The menu for breakfast had loads of options for the healthy to the hungover.

While needing to fuel up for the day ahead of shopping at the Salamanca Market, I came upon Zum Cafe for breakfast and had the french toast. It was so filling and tasted great. Was a good serving size.

We had breakfast here a couple of times as we had to come back for more Potato Rosti.. So delicious!! Coffee was great and the kids could have hot chips for breakfast (something for everyone)!! Also loved the location, great to sit outside and watch people at the Salamanca Markets and inside, lovely warm atmosphere. I'm plotting my homemade version... More

I would have given 4 stars, but unfortunately their day old or more, stale carrot cake let the experience down. But the coffee was really good!
