The staff here are always so lovely. They stock a great range of international and local cheese and charcuterie. Good coffee and great range of lunch items like sandwiches and quiches. I really mainly come here to buy good local bread, St David's or Jersey milk and of course to pick up cheese platter goodies.

Currently the signboard says simply 'DELI' and the business is under new(ish) management and goes by the name Rathdowne Village Delicatessen. My friend who's a local resident took me here one afternoon. We each had a coffee and cookie, and they were fine. However I wished I'd ordered something more substantial: with a nice (though not large) selection of deli... More

This cafe is in an upmarket pocket of Melbourne's inner northern suburbs, and it shows. A wide menu, its items having quality ingredients, is complemented by friendly service from 'Gazza', the proprietor. You fit in best if you look the intellectual type who enjoys reading Melbourne's broadsheet newspaper 'The Age', but don't be shy - anyone who pays will be... More
