Came here after reading reviews. I had roast pork and it was very good and I decided to come again for breakfast. Service was very good. It will be perfect if not for the prices.

The coffee was delicious as was the bircher muesli. I didn't have to wait for a table and I liked the fact that all the tables are shared. The service was great and so was the atmosphere.

So many places for Sunday brunch & we weren't disappointed. However we waited 40mins for table (along with many others) & it appeared that almost all were prepared to wait. In hindsight we should've ordered takeaway coffees to ease the wait. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was really good except for soggy toast. But some great variations for breakfast... More

Little bit crowded and often have to wait for table. But it's well worth it. Excellent coffee and scallops and tuna plate for brunch was something that you have to search for. It was amazing. Definitely going there again.

Hadn't heard anything about this place but my husband and I were staying in an AirBnB apartment across the lane from this place on our trip over from WA. We noticed from our balcony that this cafe was very busy in the mornings with people lining up to wait for a table at certain times. We did some research and found... More

This place makes our favorite in NY +LA look like I Hop. Amazingly creative, amazingly fresh ingredients, amazingly yummy. My husband had the veggie baked eggs in which every flavor gently exploded in the mouth. I had the French Toast special....might never have to eat again. Get there early

Turning up a little after the opening time the place was already busy but the outlook so welcoming we had to stay. We listed our names as only table for 2 not 3 available at the time. The wait was only a little time and so worth it. The Yellow walls and butterflies were perfect decor. The menu is extensive... More

Amazing food and atmosphere (almost slightly cramped) and we were lucky enough to arrive before the long queues started. Great coffee too!

Went to this restaurant based on all the good reviews and was not disappointed. It was busy but we were seated and served quickly. Service was friendly, coffee was amazing and the food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Highly recommend.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
