We ordered the scrambled eggs and baked eggs. The scrambled eggs were better, although the baked eggs were not too bad. I loved the coffee! We both had flat white and the aroma of the coffee lingered to the last drop! We went at 10:30am and thankfully there was no queue. The queue began shortly after we arrived, so I... More

Waited for 20 mins on a Sunday before lunch. Food & drinks came very quickly. Very nice coffee and tasty food. Service was wonderful. No wonder this place is forever busy!

Each dish we ordered was really good. Highly recommend that you try their specials for the day. We order the lobster Benedict, baked egg, special of the day and 2 French toast. Really awesome French toast. Long queue though we waited to more than an hour but is worth the wait.

The place was packed and buzzing. We went early and just managed to snag a seat straight away. Indulgent menu, huge servings.

Really enjoyed our brunch here. Didn't have to wait very long on a Friday morning for a table. The service was good and meals arrived very quickly. We enjoyed our meals particularly the baked eggs with chorizo.

A short wait and then a shared table but nevertheless the quality of the food and drinks were excellent with good service and next to no waiting time for food order to arrive. Baked eggs with mushrooms were amazing.

We went on a weekday morning at ard 10am and the queue was about 20mins. I like it that menu was not over extensive but had all the breakfast essentials. We had the ham hock Benedict and continental breakfast. Both were tasty and portions were not too overwhelming. Love the bread there by the way. Please of course try the... More

The food here is amazing. Visited with friends had the bircher, salmon and roasted mushrooms. When in melbourne it's great to share food so you can taste everything and still pay a decent amount around 25 per head. The roasted mushrooms not that great, it's not a taste I personally enjoy had this weird herb in it which tasted like... More

Went here for my birthday breakfast. Were there when it opened. Service was quick and attentive. I had brioche with fruit and pannacotta, it was divine. Coffee was lukewarm and weak. We would definitely return

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
