Really awful manners of staff. Very rude. Made us feel very uncomfortable in their establishment. Would not recommend

I accidentally ordered food here from UberEats when I was drunk without realising it was a vegetarian joint due to it being only noted in the small print. Why call a burger a 'veg beef patty'? Why throw the word 'beef' in there? I enjoy oxymorons in extended acclaimed prose in novels, not on menus for fast food burger joints.... More

On a trip to Melbourne from Queensland and I am so jealous. Great to be able to just walk in and order anything as a vegetarian. Food was impeccable and service fast and friendly. Come to Queensland soon!!!!

After having my heart set on getting Lord of The Fries - it was a slight let down and frustratingly difficult to find tucked down a little ally way (for non Melbournites). The prices are a little pricey for the type of meal. Great idea having a vegetarian fast food place, and offers a good range of food options however... More

Love this place. Highly recommended for those with dietary requirements. I had the poutine burger and my partner had a burger which he was able to make gluten and dairy free. The staff were funny and friendly and generous portions of chips.

Beef burger was Terrible terrible terrible. I think there was no meat in the burger. It didn't taste like a burger or beef

On a busy street corner, you shouldn't miss this place!! The fries are amazing and come in four different varieties! I tried the chunky and sweet potato both were yum! The burgers are innovative and the sauces are yummy, I tried their spicy and new guru along with Vietnamese, Parisan and Indian, they offer all burgers in mini portions as... More

I first overlooked Lord of the Fries as another standard fast food joint. It took me a good month in Melbourne to realise that this is actually fully vegetarian! I have never seen anything like it so drooled over the menu knowing that nothing was off limits. (Something only fellow veggies will understand). When I introduced my newly pledged vegetarian... Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
