Delicious grilled fish & salad. The grilled fish was coated in garlic though, which was my mistake because I’m very fodmap sensitive. But it tasted great at the time! Would order fried fish next time to avoid the tummy upset

Great value, great tasting fish and chips - what’s there not to like? A busy well situated restaurant, Hunky Dory ticks all the boxes for a staple meal out with great tasting fish and chips (and aioli!), nice wines and altogether great value for money!...More

Greeted at the counter by the owner, I assume. Bustling dinner time, crowded and popular is always a good sign! Good food, took a little while to come out but that was to be expected with the crowd.

We ate here many times, both for lunch and dinner, and were never disappointed. The grilled fish are fresh and cooked to perfection, and with a great salad is inexpensive and nutritious.
