Downstairs is a bright restaurant, and the colourful stairwell leads you to a dark mid floor bar and onto the nice roof top bar (with heaters). A great experience with friendly staff. Drinks were reasonably priced and the bar snack food was good value (we...More

We visited Campari house on the spur of the moment as we were in the city. Lovely simple menu without too much choice. The food was delicious, we will definitely be coming back.

Looking for somewhere to have a bite to eat before hitting the comedy festival shows. Campari house popped up in my emails so we thought we'd give it a try and glad we did. Friendly staff really know the menu and knowledgable about gluten free...More

Decided at the last minute to ditch our formal dinner plans and grab a bite near the hotel. I jumped onto Google Maps and used the explore local food option, the locals' choice and selected Campari for the rooftop bar. This turned out to be...More

the roof top bar is a great spot for drinks, unfortunately the view of the car park is a little disappointing but a nice open air spot in the heart of the city. pizza on the snack menu was very good.

Shiraz doesn't live in the fridge! Cold Shiraz doesn't make friends. The gingerella cocktail was nice. Staff vary from pleasant to disinterested!More

Hi Paul, Thank you for your feedback, we really appreciate it. Although our red wines do appear to be stored in a fridge, they are actually kept at 'cellar temperature' in speciality red wine coolers. This helps us maintain consistency and stops the wine from...More

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways
tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary
feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the
city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques,
throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You
never quite know what you’ll find around the next
corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and
even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air

Though it may sound like the Melbourne consulate for Italy’s much-loved bitter red aperitif, Campari House is actually the latest incarnation of an old-school Italian bistro that opened its Hardware Lane doors in 1968. The once-famous Campari Bistro has been brilliantly rejuvenated into a fantastic five level hospitality experience reflecting Melbourne’s diverse restaurant and bar culture. Consisting of a ground floor restaurant, level 1 guest room, level 2 Lounge, a fully covered Rooftop Bar and secondary Rooftop The Soda Bar.

Seamlessly merging refined and rustic, vintage and contemporary, Campari House has the feel of an instant classic. Stylish without being sleek, the venue is warm and inviting, comfortable yet lively.

The ground floor 45 seater Restaurant offers a fresh and innovative modern Italian menu open for lunch and dinner. The Level 1 versatile, light filled function space is perfect for your next corporate or private event. The Campari House signature stained glass private booths located in the Lounge are also available for hire and ideal for intimate meetings or exclusive group bookings in the evenings. Finally wander up to either of the greatly anticipated rooftop bars for some of Melbourne’s best pizza.

The seasonal menu showcases modern Italian inspired cuisine that utilises both locally sourced & sustainable ingredients we hope to reflect sensibility with contemporary flair while staying true to their traditional roots.

Whether you are looking for quick morning coffee, unforgettable dining experience or a quiet drink on the roof top under Melbourne’s striking star lit sky, Campari House is sure to impress.
