Looking to taste a meat pie, we found this one conveniently located in the Block arcade. Pie was tasty, really simple, salad was fresh and we did appreciate it was not crowded as the other restaurant. Service friendly.

Just off little Collins street in the block arcade, dinkum has fresh pies and sausage rolls. Fresh and delicious.
The restaurant is located in the royal arcade. There are lots of varieties of meat pie and sausage roll. We ordered steak and mushroom pie and spicy meat pie. Both is really good especially spicy one. During the 1990s I worked at a place just around the corner and would regularly grab a pie from here. Back then, it was an unpretentious crowded, bright, busy place with great pies, pasties and sausage rolls. Now it's a dark, sad place. If it...More
