Walking home from a full day in the city, friends fit bit read 24km so was in the mood for takeaway back at the apartment. Been walking past Da Bruno since thursday when we arrived in Melbourne :). They're an Italian Ristorante, now delivering to your door step as the takeaway menu says but its a 2 min walk so... More

Only the name is Italian. Despite the Indian lady was nice and polite it's very sad to be branded as Italian restaurant because in reality is not. From the first look of the menu full of exotic pizzas with pineapple and chicken Cajun turkey ham in Italy wouldn't stay open more than 2mins. The pizza dough is thin but noting... More

My family and I visited Da Bruno Ristorante last night. What a mistake. The service was lousy. We had to wait 20 mins just to order water. The staff were very good at not making eye contact with you. The meals took 45 mins. Very underwhelming food; oversalted and miserly portions of risotto. The highlight for me was the $12... More

Great location opposite the MCG, but that's the only good part. Spag Bol was served cold, and the pasta meals were clearly prepared earlier and heated up in microwave. The waitresses were nice but slow to order drinks. The pizza's were average, and to top it all off (excuse the pun) there was raw chicken on the pizza. No discount... More

Having seen a person carrying Pizza boxes down the street, we were looking for a relatively casual dinner, and we were not disappointed. The staff and management made us welcome and were fast and efficient. Plenty of room and a wide range of food ranging from the more casual pizza to more sophisticated meals. Following our Calamari Entrea we greatly... More

While at Melbourne, we went here for lunch, as this was very close to my hotel. Serrved us hot pizza in about 20 mins and was very tasty.

Service as good, and we had a speedy meal, but my view is that the chef is not quite there with the flavours at this place. I had the chicken scallopini, and the flavour was almost non-existent. My dining partner had the pasta carbonara, and it was overloaded with flavours, a bit overpowering. The place was reasonably expensive for what... More

So I went to what is predominantly a pizzeria and ordered the rack of lamb. This is usually a bad move, ignoring the specialty. However, it was pretty good. The lamb was a little too salted, but was cooked perfectly pink and juicy. The vegetables were al dente and the portion was perfect. The wine was right for the food... More

Terrible service and lacking menu. Specials board had 4 dishes but when you enquire to order off the board, waitress advises that the specials are only valid after 7.30pm?! Seriously I was there for dinner at 6pm. Meal itself was more like what you get out of a Coles frozen packet. No way is this Italian cuisine, only item that's... More

From the moment we walked in the door I noticed the lack of ambience. No candles on the tables and only two people dining there other than our group. They thankfully waited for our late arrivals however the food did not gratify our belated hunger. The lasagne was served with chips (Italian?) and the small side salad was half wilted.... More
