Breakfast today is at Café Alcaston. Looks like I'm the first customer and I very promptly have my cappuccino, housemate muesli and toast with honey. The entrance is to be found just inside Collins Street, then it's the first on the right, once inside! I'm...More
Great service. Perfect lunch. Best pies in Melbourne and that means in the world!! Nice fresh garden salad accompanies the best pie you will ever find. Wish they would franchise the pies. Pomies you need to try this to understand a step up in pie...More
First time in this wonderful little secret place. Home made delicious pies and a variety of salads and other choices. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. I certainly will return frequently both socially and fir business lunch meetings.

Ordered the Sample (or Special) Pie which was half Chicken and half Beef. It came with a small salad, but the Pie was absolutely fabulous. Generously filled and very very tasty. Friendly staff and good value.
I met a couple of people here for a business breakfast. It was nice food and friendly service - I had an omelette with feta cheese and tomatoes that was excellent. Large serves, small place - so ideal for smaller groups. Very well priced.
