Had brunch at this little quaint cafe, recommended to us! Its a nice local place, not easy to get to but defo worth the trip! Coffee is so good, and the food is very very delish! Yummy wagyu burger and we had also the awesome chipotle omelette with avo and cheese. One of the nicest brunches around. Staff are also... More

This quaint cafe is nestled among the laneways of south yarra and resembles the eateries of the european cities such as barcelona With its retro fitout and interesting menu it seems to be a favourite among the locals Run by the props whom also feature in the kitchen the food is great along with gravity coffee on offer A pleasant... Lawson Grove Shop is one of South Yarra's best kept secrets - indeed, I almost hesitate to review it here, to selfishly keep it to myself! Historically, I believe, it was originally built as a kitchen which serviced the apartments such as 'Beverly Hills' in the area - I supposed those apartments were filled then, as now, with many singles... In a obscure but quaint location! Although the streets are very tight to drive down you'll probably find a park without problem because it's neighbourhood not business district. If you are coming by public transport you'll need to walk a bit but the walk will be lovely (perhaps take the river route). The cafe is ideal for breakfast and lunch... More

A lovely little place for locals to hide. Cash only, bring enough to cover a delicious brunch and a few delicious coffees as well as some extra dollars for a takeaway dinner.

I had lunch with a french colleague. It was a sunny day and busy so we had to sit inside which is a little on the dark side. He ordered vitello and I the home made gnocchi. We shared a salad. All dishes punched above their weight. The coffee also is up to Melbourne standard. Service was friendly and efficient
