I always rush past Grill'd each day as I rush to and from my train as I go to work . Always keen to try but never had the chance , this particular Friday I was off work and was out shopping at the DFO. Fancying a bite to eat and a drink the first place that came to mind... More

This casual eatery is tucked in a corner of Southern Cross station. It was quite busy on the night we visited. We had to place our order at the counter, pay up then go search for an available table. When the food was ready, the staff would call out before bringing the food over. I opted for a crispy bacon... More

Had the 3 sliders for $15 plus a side of chips. Chicken, classic and vintage. Heaps of flavour packed into these sliders

Good service, quality food, convenient location if you're after a quick meal before you catch a train. The staff were good enough to let me use a power point under table 15 to boost my phone. Had a great steak sandwich and the classic chips are awesome! 😊

Ordered the cheese and bacon burger from here and was not disappointed. The original bread was very tasty! Also liked having the option to get a Corona as well.

Many different burgers on offer including beef, chicken and lamb, as well as steak sandwiches. I had the simplest, beef burger for $9.90. Plenty of taste and a good size. This place is a good choice and relatively inexpensive compared to many of the other food outlets. Well worth a try.

Probably the best burger meal I've had, the staff are very friendly, the food freshly cooked, nice seating if you eat in, and you can enjoy a drink with beers, ciders etc being available, and not only burgers, also steak sandwiches and some of the best chips I've ever had especially with the herb salt. I had the Hawaiian burger... More

This Grill'd is so much better than the South Melbourne one. Staff are lovely and they make sure that your order is exactly what you asked for. Always plenty of space to sit and even when they're busy they have someone managing guests and tables.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
