The pork and chives fried dumplings were very good. But the lamb skewers was tough and dried. The homemade noodles were okay not great. Service was very average.

Staying in Melbourne for a week. So many places to eat! Wanted dumplings. Definitely not disappointed. Pork and chive dumplings delicious. Husband had fish flavoured pork dish. Also lovely. In hindsight should've looked at the pictures first. So many things to choose from!! My choice of chicken noodles not spicy enough but still nice. My choice of dish. Not theirs!... More

Cassidy – I had lunch here with a friend, we got some chicken & prawn dumplings, pork & chive dumplings, and some special fried rice. I quite liked the pork dumplings, and the rice was nice. The chicken dumplings were ok but I probably wouldn’t bother ordering them again. The service was bit all over the place – they were... More

Nice traditional Chinese food with freshly made dumplings and a really nice plate of fried rice. Large servings and good service.

We ordered dumplings, and two meals with rice. They all came at the same time, which was disappointing, so perhaps order one thing at a time. The service is non existent. However, the dumplings were wonderful, but the two chinese meals were mediocre at best. Next time we'll just have the dumplings and go somewhere else for the meal.

This restaurant is just across the road from our hotel, the only reason we had a quick meal here. A bit dirty with tatty furniture the food is ok. We ordered the Mongolian lamb for our kids which was supposed to come on a sizzling plate but didn't. It was bland enough for the kids to eat. The fried rice... More

Quite a small shop, very busy, easy to bump into other guests. The food is ready in reasonable timeframe. Mostly good, but the boiled dumpling skin is bit tough. Overall the fried dumpling is pleasant.

Thank James Y

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
