It was a very busy Saturday morning but the staff were on top of it all. Meal and coffees arrived quickly. Being so close to the river meant we were avoiding seagulls but thats nature.

Visited Charlie Lovett again today and sat on the verandah overlooking the Yarra River and thoroughly enjoyed the latte & muffin. I really enjoy a muffin and at Charlie Lovett they are made on site and are always fresh and most of all very tasty!...More
Our local breakfast go to at home is a Charlie Lovett, but unfortunately this branch had less options. The food here is fairly standard breakfast fare fancied up with chorizo instead of sausage. Still, the food, coffee and atmosphere are fine.
Coffee and breakfast were good. Unable to understand why staff member would not let me move a cushion from one seat to another to support my crook back. Hospitality? Hmmm!
Hum...a mixed review really, great coffee, served in a dirty cup...replaced, no problem and my wife's cup was clean. brunch dish chosen was 'Benny fron the Bronx', this was poached egg with Prosciutto and Hollandaise sauce on toasted muffins with Hash Browns on the side....More
Lovely food and atmosphere and a feeling of space as you weren't crammed in. The staff were friendly and waiting time was very short even though they were busy.
