Great offering of bread and dips, but the bread is just like nothing I've had anywhere before. Super soft inside and super crispy/crunchy outside.

Found that the business has been closed down to be refitted as an indian cuisine restaurant. I hear the new business will be open in about 3 to 4 weeks time.

The food was tasty and a good option for vegetarians. It is a little quirky and the bread bowl idea is great. The staff were also nice.

Interesting place! Wasn't sure what the vibe was but I enjoyed my meal, overall pleasant experience. Love the idea of dip bread bowls, very creative. Never seen a place specialising in such a thing. Bread was a bit too crispy though, may have been slightly...More

Went for a breakfast after reading positive reviews. The cafe was empty at 10am, perhaps it was after the office rush hour. Ordered a chai latte and it tasted really good. Breakfast itself was huge and the plenty selection of dips. Give it a try...More

Stumbled across this little beauty on a Sunday morning. Great coffee and a varied menu with different and exciting options. Shakshuka, a rich, spicy tomato base with baked eggs and a side of spicy beans was double yum. Mushroom madness with a side of hash...More

We dropped in for lunch and there was a good variety of gluten free options. The range of dips is extensive and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The food was very nice and the atmosphere unique and enjoyable.

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways

throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You
never quite know what you’ll find around the next
corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and
even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air

Description
Our inspiration for Dip In has come from far and wide. We packed our bags and left home looking for flavour, spice and adventure - but made sure we took along our special family recipes for the journey. As two best friends, starting a cafe together feels like a very natural thing to do. We share a lot - we come from families where food is important, we've both travelled the world, and most importantly, we share a love of Melbourne - and we feel honoured to be adding to the cuisine of this city. The city has provided the perfect backdrop for our cultural culinary fusion - just like Melbourne, Dip In offers a little taste of everything.
