Had the C'n'F Stack and it was great! Good food, freshly squeezed apple juice was awesome and so was the hot chocolate, service was spot on and very quick!

Arrived for lunch and emphasised we had time pressures. We ordered simple dishes and despite there being only 2 other occupied tables (who were finished eating) our meals took over 45 minutes to arrive. My friend ordered Caesar salad, the waitress asked "with or without chicken", my friend specified "without" but it arrived "with". My side dish arrived when I... More

Visited on a Tuesday night with a voucher. The food was good, our waitress was happy and accommidating. Had a meat dish and a rosotto and both were very good and well presented, the meat being a little over cooked for the medium rare we asked for, but was still tender. The chicken balls as a starter were delicious. Reasonable... More

This restaurant was closed door a long time and has reopened. It may be new owners. I had breakfast there on a weekday. The food and coffee were very good. The only let down was the waiter who didn't seem to understand what was going on. I think thatshe may have been a tourist. it was very busy and perhaps... More

Very french bistro style - typical south yarra. Great for a drink after work or breakfast on weekends. Tables very close together so don't count on sharing secrets over your meal.

Service has dropped off in the last few months. Still good food, but needs to get back the special feel it used to have. I think the current owner for many years has retired from front line service and unfortunately staff never drive a business like the owner. Still worth checking out.

We have been going here for years, at first for late night coffee and cake/ dessert, then for lunch and dinner with wine. I went in the last week and it has changed! I'm sad about it. For years it has flown under the radar with dazzling smoked chicken salad that I copied at home, and a brilliant mushroom risotto... More

Great for a quiet meal, very well presented dishes. The chocolate tart is a must try! Think souffle but in a tart!

Staying in Chapel Street

Neighbourhood Profile
Chapel Street
Seek and ye shall find! Prahran is a treasure hunter’s paradise of vintage stores, upscale boutiques and emporiums. Chapel Street is a one-stop shop with specialty stores selling just about everything. The famous Chapel Street Bazaar has so many curious and vintage knick-knacks that you will feel as if you're in a huge and busy museum. By contrast, at the northern end of Chapel Street, South Yarra and Windsor cater to high-end designer labels and exclusive boutiques. The community flocks to Prahran’s organic markets as a Saturday ritual, while art and film students leaf through vinyl LPs on Greville Street. The gay community also has a strong presence here. Prahran’s heritage buildings like the Reads Emporium and Prahan arcade offer a grand sense of scale and history. No matter your interest, come feel the pulse of one of Melbourne’s most loved precincts.
