Great pub vibe for business meal one night. Great selection of food and wine. Enjoyed the oysters, steak and red wine.

The Lincoln Hotel is in Cardigan St, Carlton, not far from Swanston St. It's not exactly luxurious, but it's a pub after all. The food is good and the beer is cold. What more could you ask for?

This quaint old pub on the northern fringe of inner city Melbourne was a nice place to go for a meal and drinks. On a Monday night, it wasn’t really busy, so we could chat quite comfortable with our family members. Service was very attentive...More

Best pub food you’ll find in Melbourne. The chicken schnitzel is fantastic. Good selection of alcohol as well with a good rotation of beer.

The Lincoln Hotel is at the city end of Cardigan Street, it's not quite in the Carlton drinking and dining area, but it's close. The Lincoln is near Lygon Street, but not of it. The food has a good reputation for pub grub, the "bangers...More

Recommended by a friend who professionally photographs food - thoroughly worth a dining visit. Pub atmosphere isn't terribly cosy but the food is amazing! Would highly recommend the lamb shoulder - you are warned that it takes a little while but it's certainly worth the...More

We were pleasantly surprised by the interesting and varied relatively gourmet items on the menu. I had salt baked celeriac with white beans, brown mushrooms and chestnuts. My friend had Sausages with mashed potatoes. His sausages were thick and very tasty although he did say...More

If you want real parmesan, cut from the block, grated
over your pasta with a twist of style, this is the
place. Until recently, this neighbourhood was home to
the notorious ‘Carlton Crew,’ a pseudo mafia who
started their day with a local espresso. They are
gone, but the espresso still runs strong in this
Little Italy which has something for everyone.
