I was visiting this restaurant twice. Once with my friends and afterward with my family as well. Both times were enjoyable for me. Located at Lygon St, it should not difficult to find (I forgot the tram, but you can take tram 5 or any tram going to Melbourne University and take a short walk to Lygon St) The restaurant... More

This Thai restaurant was highly recommended by my friends and it didn't disappoint. The Tom Yum soup was spicy and would satisfy anyone who loves spicy food. We ordered steamed garoupa fish which came very fresh. Service was fast even though restaurant was packed. One of the best authentic Thai restaurants I have patronized!

Genuine Thai food at great prices at this busy little restaurant. I eat here whenever I am in Melbourne. Love the soft shell crab salad, fried crab on finely sliced salad of Granny Smith apple, chilli and coriander. The tom yum soup is great and the Chinese broccoli with pork is lovely too. Service is friendly and efficient.

Some of the best Thai I've had! The Pad Gra Pud was a religious experience and the Panang was right there with it!

Great at Thai food. Mediocre at other styles. Don't order the roti - way too oily. Crispy skin pork in a salad is as good as other reviewers say it is.

A little more upmarket than most Thai restaurants. The duck fried rice was quite good. Not particularly cheap for Thai but good quality.

Try the Crispy Pork Skin ! It was sensational ! The place is good for a group & sharing foods. However the service was so so, the waitress forgot one of our rice and we asked for the rice "1 rice hasn't come yet", few moments later she sent us the rice & charged us for double... we had a... More

Staying in Lygon Street

Neighbourhood Profile
Lygon Street
If you want real parmesan, cut from the block, grated over your pasta with a twist of style, this is the place. Until recently, this neighbourhood was home to the notorious ‘Carlton Crew,’ a pseudo mafia who started their day with a local espresso. They are gone, but the espresso still runs strong in this Little Italy which has something for everyone. Starched white tablecloths, candles, pizza the way they do it "back home" and maybe even a bit of amore. The number of gelato choices will leave you in a state of indecision and wide footpaths, big awnings and a sea of packed tables makes this al fresco dining experience a continental buzz. Even if you’re not eating, it’s worth the stroll just for the people-watching, which, of course, is an Italian tradition.
