During our stay in Melbourne we dined here five time. The staff are attentive and professional, The atmosphere family friendly, the food world class, what more could you want. One of the few establishments with properly trained bar staff, who know how to serve Cognac and they would never put ice in cider. They all deserve a bonus.

The kids meals were huge, except for the pasta which is presented in a trendy huge bowl, but not a huge serving. The kids cheeseburger is the size of a kids head though so be prepared to go halves ;-) Steak was perfect as was the port belly from all reports. Staff are excellent!

We ate here as we were staying at the Parkview Hotel (which was excellent by the way). Unfortunately the food was poor - I had the barramundi which was very ordinary, my daughter had the butter chicken which tasted nothing like it should and my husband had a steak (which he said was good). I recently stayed at the Parkview Hotel overnight with my daughter and granddaughter. As usual the breakfast at Woods Cafe was beautiful. There is a great selection of hot and cold foods and the staff are always very attentive and ready to help if you need it. We look forward to our next visit in August.

This is a cheerful looking cafe in the ground floor of the park view hotel. The menu has a lot of crowd pleasers and the potato wedges with sour cream and sweet chili sauce that they serve are the best I've ever had. The lunchtime specials are good value. Go for the house Pinot Noir, oysters kilpatrick and cheese plate 50g very delicious! The staff are very attentive and service was quick.

Couple of drinks and a meal with a work colleague, service and staff was very good and the meals a good size, meals those were average. You pay slightly more for the restaurant being in a hotel which is something to consider.

Had Dinner on Sat night, and was really disappointed in the food but was extremely pleased with our waitress, (Gretta). As an entrée, I ordered the lamb back strap. Great place to wind down after a long day. Indoor our outdoor sitting. Cold beer. Outdoor great area to sit and watch the world go by. Only have one type of light beer (BOAGS) but still tasted alright.
