i have confirmed with the restaurant owner. they are only open for dinner EVERYDAY. 6pm to 9pm. sadly not serving lunch anymore. this restaurant is located at a quiet corner of a car park no one will notice. so its kind of like a secret find in Subiaco, Perth! i think only locals will know this place! We love Cheers. Food is always consistently good and it remains our favorite Japanese restaurants in Perth. We'd highly recommend it.

Off Hay street surrounded other cafes, restaurants & bars this gem has been down the back corner for years. It's reputation for its warm & friendly environment is only bettered by the quality of the food. The proof is in it's consistency & longevity. BYO, great for solo diners, couples or sharing with a group. CHEERS lives up to it's... More

We went here for sushi the other day and had some really great sushi with mixed sushi and sashimi. The restaurant is great but unfortunately it is next door to a live music venue which makes it a little noisy later in the evening.

I loved in Japan so I appreciate a good Japanese restaurant. This place is hidden away with Japanese woman and her Malaysian husband who treat you exceptionally well. The place is simple and does not look so special from the outside but the moment I entered the door I was in a Japanese izakaya again. Sit in one of the... More

You do feel that you have visited the owners home. They really genuinely care about you! The food is very good although would not make a foody magazine - its just not fancy. The Sashimi is of a high grade, the Udon is really very good (great noddles), I think is a great place to eat - its a bonus... More

We have been going to Cheers since 2006. The restaurant is owned by a Japanese-Korean husband and wife who give you a very homely experience, they are some of the nicest people you can get food from. Usually it is just the two of them running the restaurant, though they occasionally draft in an extra person for busy nights. The... More
