Wow decadence to the max! This little boutique Ice Cream place should be a 'must do' when in Auckland. Right near the theatres and comedy clubs and right in the main hub of town. I mean eating a donut intop of your ice cream. Not an every week thing, but for the special occasion or when you just wanna be... More

Sophisticated gelato; intelligent presentation from knowledgeable and friendly staff who are all too happy to serve complimentary cups of water, chocolate drinks and even shortbread! Not friendly to the wallet but well worth the price.

Said to be the best ice cream " in the world" by the lady in the Federal and Wolfe restaurant, we duly trekked up Elizabeth St to find it. Waiting the 15 minutes until the 12 o'clock opening time added to the interest, but it was amazing to enter and be educated on the style and types of their product.... More

Nestled under the iconic Civic theatre, which is a must see in its own right, is Giapo's ice cream parlour. Ice cream in New Zealand is not ordinary, whether it's just Tip Top's Goody Goody Gumdrops (yummy bubblegum flavour, perfect for 9 year old brains) or the spectacular and delicious variety of flavour at Giapo's. If you are in town... More

We each had a fancy cone with one scoop, $22 each! Was really nice but definitely not a regular occurrence to come here. There are cheaper options from around $10-12. The staff know their product and samples and water were available while we waited in queue. When is there never a queue here!? Worth the wait, which was only about... More
