One of the few places left who will take a group booking! Thanks Flying Moa staff for being so accommodating for my birthday dinner. Always hard to book a restaurant when you have 9 kids in tow! Flying Moa secured me a table, entertained the kids, provided a comprehensive cocktail list for the Mums and beer for the Dads along... More

Their lamb salad was really good, and wait staff were friendly. Did have to call over wait staff as we waited a little bit too long to order our food. Good pub grub type atmosphere!

It had been some time since we went to the flying Moa. Last time the meal was edible but nothing to remember, we thought that time may have changed chefs/owners and if it has then there is no difference. The food again was all quick fry and chips attached. I didn't like being served my hot dog on a greasy... More

We were after a relaxed meal and the Flying Moa filled the spot. Food was as good as would be expected for this style of dining , The service was friendly and we went out happy.

Came by for lunch and noticed that they had a brunch menu on top of their standard menu. The menus had a fairly extensive list of food and drinks. Tried the mushroom on toast and was a bit disappointed. The mushrooms were sauteed and put on top of whole grain toast. I had assumed that there would be a creamy... More

The nightly special meals here are reasonably priced but the service is generally slow. After completing a loyalty survey & feeding this back to the restaurant, the manager emailed me & said she was removing me from their loyalty scheme. This made it quite obvious that they did not want any constructive comments that they could improve from & would... More

The service was excellent. My steak was well-done rather than medium rare. It was replaced with a whole new meal. Kudos. I would return for the chips alone. Four of us had four different kinds. They were all cooked by a chef who knows his stuff.

Had dinner here with a couple of friends one night. Only let down would be the wait to be seated (seemed like no one was working) and the wait for someone to come back and take our order. Once we got the ball rolling everything was smooth sailing from then on. Food was pleasant. Had orders for steak, ribs and... More
