I lived in Korea four years, and this restaurant feels just like being back there. It's not fancy food, but the kind of restaurant you go to during your lunch break at work. Lots of solid traditional dishes that would make a homesick Korean feel right at home. The staff were friendly and remembered me after my first visit.

This place is not a flashy 5 star restaurant. It's a genuine food joint that serves great food. The atmosphere is almost like being there, just colder. I recommend this is you want to go to a place where you don't feel like you have to sit up straight and behave. This is the real deal with fantastic food. More... More

Extremely shocked and disappointed .... when found that they simply use instant noodles ( which is a Korean well-known brand ) to make their dish ( ramen ) ..... and you saw inside the soup the ingredients were from the packages of instant noodles, i.e. dried mushrooms and dried eschalots ....... So you found out that you was actually paying... More

The food was great and yummy. The chicken soup has ginseng smell but not too strong . Love it! Strongly recommended this place to friends and oversea travelers who would like to have a soup after a day trip or a busy day

Ask the chef to cook you anything he likes. Buy a bottle of shoju and relax. Go slightly tipsy and enjoy the kpop on the tv until your feast arrives. Make sure you go there hungry. As an omnivore with a sense of adventure, I enjoyed every bite... If you're looking for pretentious Korean food, this is not the place... More

Love this place! The food is great, comes out quickly and you can get the side dishes refilled for free. Very affordable and great for large families. Only hassle is trying to find a parking!!! Would highly recommend this place to all. Closes late, so if your looking for a nice cheap tasty meal, come here!

Wanted to try something different plus it was already late and this place is open until 2 am hence, we tried it. Absolutely love korean food but this one under delivered. My partner had the beef teriyaki and he prefers the other korean restaurant across the road from kang nam station. I had the chicken cutlet and it was so... More

On the corner of Mayoral drive, this doesn't look much, but let your tastebuds be the judge. Food is fantastic, prices are extremely reasonable, and the service is happy and effcient. The Fried dumplings were to die for!!!!

This place has been around for years. Standing on its own in a green little house on the corner of Queen and Grey Street, food has always been cheap but nice. BBQ meals on a hot plate is always an excellent choice when you're not sure what to order. Very tasty and they come with a few side dishes which... More

This quaint little diner is open very late which is very handy for a quick late bite. The chicken rice was yum and the kimchi soup was ok, not quite the depth of flavour of other places. Given the convenience and reasonable prices I'd definitely go back.
