I found this place by accident strolling the streets for a lunch stop. I came in and was given a menu as soon as I sat down, water about 30 seconds later and was asked if I was ready to order which after a guick glance over the menu I did. I tried out the prawn spring rolls, and the... More

Really enjoyed our takeaway from Uncle Neil's. I had prawn Thai spicy noodles and my wife had the beef in oyster sauce with noodles. Both fantastic. Highly recommend this Thai restaurant. Best in Rotorua.

It looks like the takeaway bar but if you are looking for taste, this thai is better than the others. And plenty of seating. Soup is good. Not quite as good as the thai in KeriKeri I reviewed 2 days ago but I'd come back here in this town. They have volcano chicken. I don't even know what that is... More

The decor is very understated, but who cares. We had the stir-fried pineapple/ginger/duck and the red curry with duck. Yum. We are... More

My daughter and I had dinner there. I have frequently traveled to Bangkok on business. My daughter had green curry with chicken. I had spicy noodles with pork. We both thought our dishes were excellent, and the service was friendly and attentive.

Fragrant Thai Fried Rice served in a large serve which fed both me and my adult son. wife and 3 sons tested these Brilliant Thai Curries, Ordinary Tom Yum. A litle costly but worth a eat. Spent about an hour here in the getaway from the afternoon heat of Rotorua.
