Had a great time at Laughing Buddha, delicious food, quick and pleasant service, and decent prices. We didn't have a reservation and they squeezed us in. Great staff, thanks for the lovely meal!

I arranged a dinner party with friends on a Thursday night thinking it would be a quiet night but alas the restaurant was full and being school holidays full of screaming children! Worse was to follow; after waiting 35 minutes our table finally got some water (there were only 2 waiters and one was on her first night!) Two of... More

Dined with colleagues and very much enjoyed the "Yum Cha" the atmosphere was/is pleasant and the service is good. Looking forward to returning again soon. Have only had Lunches here, never an evening meal. I understand the evening menu is different. Have always found the service pleasant.

This restaurant used to be good but is now going downhill. The portions are now much smaller and the service is very ordinary. Even rice is rationed!. There are better places to dine in this category in New Plymouth. Disappointed .

I travel to new Plymouth every second week and the team at the laughing Buddha look after me so well. They have adjusted my meals to how I like and done it with a smile. I've had faraway and eatten in and it's always really good. Attentive staff with great food. Thank you Laughing Buddha.

Best prawn and coriander dumplings. However the BBQ pork was very dry. Having said that overall it was a really good enjoyable meal. Would go back but just don't order the pork.
