What an interesting cafe with outside artwork everywhere. Also has its own art shop. Coffee was good as well. Worth checking out if you want a quieter place to have your coffee.

We had heard from friends about this spot as a must see in Taupo. Scenic little drive out of Taupo to Acacia Bay, following the signs up the hill to Cafe l'Art gallery. We were there on a sunny Feb afternoon, arriving around 12:30. Glad we had our coffee and lunch right away as the cafe gets busy and they... More

This place is a must for brekkie if you're in Taupo. Awesome rustic breakfast, great coffee matched with super friendly staff - what more can one ask for..?!? Able to wonder the grounds and visit the small gallery afterwards. Will definitely be back if travelling to Taupo in the future.

Staying with local friends so we could attend the Summer Concert, they brought us to this eclectic cafe for breakfast. Loved the mosaic living room and other ceramic art on display. Breakfast was good but not overly memorable, portions on the smaller size. I had smashed avocado, hubby the French toast. The artwork was very memorable. Gluten free options available.

Amazing Cafe set in a Country surrounding, yet not too far from Taupo City. Lovely food, great service and the most amazing Mosaic art work to be explored, right down to their "rest rooms". This has to be seen to be believed. Plenty of arts/crafts for sale too.

Have you not visited this cafe yet? You must! We go here on our annual trip for the Taupo Summer Concert. It has fabulous food and really good coffee. On top of this - its in a super location (in the country it feels). On top of this its surrounded by an art store (mostly outdoor ceramic art) which my... More

We came about 10.30 for brunch. We were served quickly at the counter and the food arrived within 10 minutes. It was good, nice poached eggs, small slices of ciabatta toast and bacon. Coffee was good too. Nothing to rave about but not disappointing. Lovely garden, mosaic sculptures and shop so well worth an outing. Nearby Acacia Bay makes it... More

It was a rainy summers day and the cafe was packed with diners. The menu had the usual cafe eats but with a stylish twist. Avacardos mixed with feta and mint, pesto made with sun-dried tomatoes, etc. Very tasty. Catered for vegetarians. Cabinet food and menu food. Staff very friendly and coffee great. Great portions of food and filling.

Good tasty meals and coffee is great! Quick service too despite being really busy! I had the eggs bene with bacon, the meal was a reasonable size however if you are a big eater I would add a side or two. The best thing about this cafe are the grounds, clearly the owners invest a lot of thought, energy and... More
