We're in town for the Keith Urban concert, and had a lovely, long, late lunch before showtime. We opted for the Chef's Choice with wine matching. Absolutely delicious. Probably the best course was the paua ravioli but the ceviche, lamb, venison and blood orange desert were all magnificent. Blend in some amazing wine and fantastic service and you have a... More

I started with the oysters, then the terrine, followed by lamb rump and cheese. Everything was excellent and the service was good. But the best part was the wine list - they have a selection of "Reserve" wines (stored under Nitrogen) which were good and very interesting.

Had a team lunch for 9 at Logan Brown last week. They were very accomodating moving our booking forward a week when we needed to postpone. Also very happy to adjust numbers the day before which was appreciated, as it is always difficult to pin people down. We all had a $25 lunch special which included a main (from their... More

We had another delicious meal @ LB last night, celebrating some birthdays and other milestones. The menu had choices which appealed to teenagers as well as adults and the kitchen accommodated our picky eater easily. Thanks!

The staff made us feel really special during the whole meal, it was lovely. The food was amazing - both the presentation and taste were fabulous. I would recommend to anyone to go for a special occasion. We had such a great night.

Long standing reputation as best in Wellington. Well deserved. Easy walk from Museum Art Hotel. Pricey but worth it.

We visited for the Prix Fixe menu on a Saturday as we didn't have the time for the full tasting menu. If I had thought it might be a less fancy meal or simpler menu I was wrong- we were both blown away with how good the dishes were and the quality of the matching wines. There was a choice... More

Fantastic food and fine dining experience. The service was excellent and although not something I would do all the time, it's a must do it again experience.

We did the pre theatre menu. Fantastic. We also took our granddaughter and she had the Junior Foodies menu. This was the main reason for us to choose LB. Fab value at $20. Service is second to none. We have done several events at LB and found consistency all round. It is also nice that Steve is quite often there... More

Description
Awarded TWO HATS Good Food Awards 2013, 2014, 2015 and Supreme Winner Restaurant of the Year NZ 2009. Nearly 20 years after Steve Logan founded the restaurant, Logan Brown is still showing newcomers how to do fine dining. The neo-classical interior remains as plush as ever, drawing diners who wouldn't normally brave the upper reaches of Cuba St, while competent, confident service encourages adventurous choices from the wine list. The kitchen, headed by Shaun Clouston, continues to turn out innovative, but not gimmicky, food. There's a strong emphasis on local and seasonal flavours, with a nod to the huntin', shootin' and fishin' enjoyed by the restaurant's founders. Classic Kiwi flavours are embraced and showcased with a sense of humour. In brief: style, service and food you can bank on Said international guest judge, Ralph-Kyte Powell, "If I had to select an international flagship for New Zealand cuisine. Logan Brown would be hard to go past"
