We found this on Trip Adviser and went out to find it, tucked away in the CBD it isn't easy to find but when you do find it you won't forget it, Nice atmosphere and friendly staff, our meals come out in good time and were delicious, reasonably priced the meals were quite large, they have a huge range of... I've visited LBQ a number of times and always enjoy it. It's a great place in both summer and winter. I went there for lunch today and the fire was going it was a really cosy atmosphere - was hard to leave! I had a delicious chicken burger this time around but have eaten their pizzas and salads - all... More

Great place, tucked away in a back street, neat decor, awesome selection of beer, friendly and helpful staff, only too willing to let you taste test the huge selection of tap beer. Good menu and prices. Always have a good time here.

And great atmosphere, a great selection and very welcoming. Excellent to see hand-drawn beers on offer. Didn't eat but it smelt great. Came back twice in the same evening. For the beer and atmosphere. Loved it!

Had the $10.00 lunch special fish & chips, omg one between would have been better. The serving was well endowed, was delicious but boy we were full. The burgers looked amazing going out to other diners. Seemed a very popular place, and never heard them in the evening while staying above them. Would def dine there again and try another... More

I was lucky enough to be invited for a few beers at this out of the way bar. Located in the heart of the city it is tucked just out of site off the Main Street. The bar has a wide range of beers and on the night I visited it was 2 for 1 pizzas. This friendly little bar... More

Meeting with friends after work in the busy and buzzy lbq. Cool atmosphere and those seats make you stay if you get there early enough to get a seat. I live in wellington craft beer capital and this place is key to your education. Only get beer on tap and ask the bartender what he likes at the moment -... More

I didn't try them all, but I did hit 5 craft beer places over a week in Wellington...this was my favorite by far. I tend to drink the dark beers, like porters and stouts. LBQ had a few on draft and a very large selection of bottles and cans; more porters and stouts than I could drink in a week... More
