Came here with a friend for brunch on a stormy Wellington morning and we loved sitting in the bow of the boat and watching the rain pour down. The food was good and the coffee was too. A quirky interesting place to stop for a lovely meal

Needing a quick fix of some fish and chips one evening and this place offers a takeaway version, fish was beautiful with a great crust, big chunky chips and some tomato sauce and all served in a pizza box. Great idea, and either sit in there built-in outdoor area or on the beach 20 metres away

Terrific place for all kinds of breakfasts, overlooking the water. The Old boat club building has been well served by this cafe for a while now & the locals really soak it up.

Went for lunch. Food was fine, however the service and atmosphere was not so great. Our meals came out 5-10 mins apart which meant my partner had finished her meal before mine even arrived. Even worse were the bar staff who were banging doors, yelling at the each other and just generally being noisy, which is ironic given the sign... More

Stopped by for brunch and had a couple of dishes. Seafood chowder great, plenty of sea food. Fish and chips also great. Ran out of room and had to take desert home as didn't want to miss out on the great cake cabinet

First time to this cafe and what a disappointment. We ordered a coffee steak sandwich and chicken pita pocket. The steak sandwich came in a naan bread which was weird in the first place. It was rubbery and inedible. The pita pocket was rock hard. The chicken was tandoori, really over powered the chicken. The menu didn't state the chicken... More

Pretty standard cafe food. We had a chicken pita and a steak sandwich (which both had very similar ingredients aside from the meat) and chips. We also had very good potato skins- delicious. Very friendly and efficient service.

When there's a wild storm in Wellington, it's time to grab a seat and some popcorn. There's a saying, "you can't beat Wellington on a good day" there should be an additional saying "you can't beat Wellington on a really bad day" That's because when the Northerly pushes 120km per hour winds and the tide is high, you're in for... When visiting Wellington, I was amused by the restaurant built around an old tug. The staff were extremely friendly, but the food was only average.

Disappointing lunch here long wait and service poor ...food average and costly for the quality. I had salad which was supposed to have beetroot in it but none to be seen. My partner had chowder and any fish taste was drowned out by a curry flavor and very thick. We won't be back .
