Great food, atmosphere and friendly accomodating staff. The ONLY downside is the oil smell coming form the kitchen. Please do something about this, our clothes still stink of greeasy oil two days later.

Great location in the heart of the city delivering excellent value in very relaxed and comfortable surroundings. Great place to base yourself to plan visiting parts of the city by foot.

Great and friendly staff, excellent food, terrific location. Our hotel was nearby and once we'd eaten here, my husband wanted to have b'fast at the H'bird Cafe very day. He likes his coffee and theirs was superb.

We went there for breakfast. The date scone was quite delicious, the hot bagel a bit less (with just sufficient - not very generous - amount of jam and cheese).

In the Restart Mall which is made up of containers. This is a lovely cafe with a variety of choices and nice drinks. Very clean, friendly and fast service. Good prices.

Good strong coffee on a brisk Chch day. Always a good coffee can be found here. Perfectly fine to grab a takeaway and keep on looking around the mall.
