We had a celebration dinner at Saggio di Vino in April, having had a very good meal at the restaurant at Christmas time. On both occasions the food has been of a very good standard. Well cooked and great flavours. My only criticism of the food on the latest occasion was that there was no fish option. Half our party... More

Hello there Very pleased that you thoroughly enjoyed your celebration dinner! Apologies about the lack of fish on the menu that night I would rather serve the freshest line-caught fish possible or not serve it at all! I'm sure my customers appreciate the honesty We look forward to seeing you again next time Kind regards, David Napier l Chef Patron... More

Wine was great, Food was Ok, expected a bit more in term of portion-wise, service was great as the gentleman was being very professional, but wouldn't come back as there are other places that can provide my stomach a higher satisfaction with the amount of money I spend.

This restaurant is fine dining at its best. The service is very good and the wine excellent. The price reflects ts the type of dining experience. The tables and the area is first class. The food is supreme, very well presented, good selection. The wine selection is very good. Parking at rear or on the street, bookings can be made... More

We haven't been here for some time and can say that our expectations were for a better experience than we received. The service was poor with at times having to wait 15 minutes to get drinks. The water was slow in being filled up. The meals were very meager and for $37 to $42 for just the main course very... More

What a fantastic experience, we have eaten here a few times over the past years, this time however was with the new owners, what a great occasion. A total treat for the tastebuds, so good it's actually hard to find the words to describe the evening! So all I can say is, 'a must do dining experience!'

We dined here back on the 18th September 2016 for our anniversary dinner. My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed the 5-course experience and it was memorable, hence I decided to write a review... It was a bit awkward when we entered the restaurant as the waiters didn't greet us straight away and water wasn't provided when we sat down at... More

Let's start with the positive: our food, ingredients, cooking and presentation, was out of the top drawer. Sadly, what we had hoped to be a wonderful evening out was ruined by atrocious service. We were greeted warmly on arrival, and then left for several minutes, during which time we decided to order Italian aperitifs, a Campari and a glass of... More

Visited three times in the last month, finding surprises with all three occasions. Staff were very attentive and never intrusive, waiters' wine knowledge were impressive and most wines can purchase by glass and fairly priced too - great place to have wine tastings without traveling across globe really. One time I only had wines and cheeseboard and boy those cheese... More

This is an expensive restaurant and I am reviewing it against that standard. All in all I was quite disappointed and think it has slipped back under the new ownership. The drinks service was sloppy and slow and the range of beer was extremely poor, we were not offered water, drinks were not kept topped up, when drinks ran out... More

Hi Neil Challenger Thanks for your feedback I'm the chef you met with at the end of your meal, and discussed your feedback with you while you were at the bar. 1) Saggio Di Vino is a wine focused restaurant and always has been for 25 years. I have 11 beers on the menu. 6 more beers than the previous... More

We dined at Saggio's on 27.12.16, it was our 25th Wedding Anniversary. The service was appalling. The waiter tried to rip us off with a $190 bottle of wine we didn't order and then proceeded to try and charge us for it!! The waitress stood behind the bar most of the night drinking from a water bottle. They were not... More
