Paid $32 for two burgers and Chips. Chips and gravy was outstanding however the burgers were very disappointing. It was a tossup with BK and Burgers and beers unfortunately we made the wrong deacons . Fresh buns and meat, however that was it, boring tasty but not worth the $13 for the standard burger. Very disappointing. Heard rumours that the... More

Huge delicious burgers. Chips and gravy are the business. Cheap for the amount of food you get. Will always return.

Burgers size is a bit out of hand if you're on the smaller side. The staff are super chill, even when busy. Beer selection is limited, given the title of the shop. The buns on the burgers are fluffy and definitely complete the burger. Only noobs order Chicken Pig, Billy Beef and Blue is where it's at. The vibe of... More

In my opinion, you can never go wrong with Burgers and Beers. Their burgers are something different, a bit gormet and a bit comfort food. It's a strange mix but it works oh so well. And their onion rings are to die for! We would often go in and just get the onion rings (pre-diet days). Then there's the chips... More

Great chips, best in town . Burger was pretty good, large and very tasty. Burgers patties had some spice heat to them when there was no mention of this, found this surprising in a nice way others who are used to eating cardboard mc Dee patties might find them a bit hot . All ingredients fresh buns large and good... More

Good choice of burgers with different meats and nice bread rolls too. Choice for vegetarians and gluten intolerant too. Good beer and fun atmosphere.

I had the King Julius and more burgers should be made like this. My husband had the Super Bugger Burger and loved it. The chips came with the most amazing gravy I have had on chips. The decor is fun, the staff are great, and this was the best meal we had in Christchurch.

Burgers here really are the best you'll get in the city. They're widely known for their variety fresh ingredients, wicked combos and the chips and gravy are next level. i regularly have one of the two vegetarian buyrgers and never do I feel like I'm missing out - that mushroom, chickpea and pumpkin pattie is huge! Great value for money,... More

The flavours here are so different and so delicious! Very big burgers, if you aren't a big eater you can half a burger and a chips and gravy (the chips are a must have). Great place to go for a social catch up or with your partner- not very romantic though.
