Thank you to Keegan for amazing service. We sat in the garden on a beautiful Christchurch summer's day and the birds and the bees entertained us as we waited for our meals. The restaurant was extremely busy and we were thrilled with the level of service and quality of food and all on a wonderful value voucher.

My husband took me to The Old Vicarage for a date night. This was our first time dining here and we had a great experience. The ambiance is well done, except the music doesn't really match the environment. For a starter, we shared the Polenta Fingers. It was the perfect amount of food for a starter. For our mains we... We visited this restaurant about a month ago and had the pork belly sandwich and rosti stack from the lunch menu. The rosti stack lacked any flavour and the smoked garlic aioli was more a tasteless mayonnaise with the basil pesto almost non-existent. The pork was okay but the apple and fennel chutney was hard to find and the slaw... More

I took my mum to The old vicarage for lunch, I am so pleased I did. We had a fantastic meal, the staff were lovely and I will most certainly be going back again. The vicarage itself is on a main road, however when you sitting inside or in the gardens that is not the feel of the place at... More

First time in years, lovely open and charismatic atmosphere of the old villa tastefully decorated and scrupulously maintained. When busy:- timings were a little off and slow but not outside of acceptable. Also to be fair a large party and the mains were within a couple of minutes meaning efficient and well run kitchen. Pricing tending to the high side... More

This cozy and intimate venue was such a lovely place to visit for a first time. As it was such a warm night, the windows were open which allowed fresh air to circulate. It is definitely a good place to meet for a social setting and there appeared to be adequate seating room. However, while the atmosphere was pleasant, I... More

Wow our first visit and we will be back. Lovely meal had a good variety of options for the kids and colouring, which is always a hit. Service was fantastic, very attentive, were even lent a pen for noughts and crosses. Food was lovely, well presented and tasted as good as it looked.

We were a family group wanting a light lunch and called into the Old Vicarage Cafe to see what was on offer. We got a table outside which was great and the waiter attended to us promptly but from there it went down hill. We had children with us and ordered them the fish and chips from the children's menu... I went to the Old Vic for Dinner on New Years Eve. Was a great night & was highlighted by the great band, The Vagues Brothers. A great nights entertainment & very close to home. Also like their Sunday Afternoon sessions with live music. Well done.
