Thanks Sam, great gift voucher service. Also, I've been here for dinner, birthdays, engagements a 60th and a wedding, a firm fav when we're in Dunnos. :-) P.S. Sam may need elevated renumeration

We had lunch here on Friday and it was simply perfect in every way. The food and the service was spot on. No room for dessert! We'll be back

I ate at Plato with work colleagues and was pleasantly surprised by the service and menu as the exterior looks a bit ordinary. The menu focuses mainly on seafood with 6 different fish featuring on the daily catch done in 3 different ways. There were other options including lamb, beef and chicken which looked great on other diners plates. The... More

Great meal. Very unusual surroundings and placement of restaurant but don't let that put off. The food was excellent and good value. Better than some Auckland A listers! Would reccomemnd for couple and or family.. 9/10

Quirky decor with brilliant food. This resturant is away from city centre and well worth the effort to dine at. The seafood was delicious and the serves are more than generous. I have dined here often and appreciate the menu that follows the season and produce that's available.

If you want fresh local seafood prepared perfectly, then Plato's the place. Just be thankful you don't have to do the dusting!

We tried Plato's on a friends recommendation. Its not in the "centre" of town, its not in a "stunning" setting and on arrival we were a bit confused about what we were doing there. The decor made us think we were in a cafe that had been taken over by Grandmas teapot collection that had been donated to the local... More
