We had visited a couple of places looking for somewhere to dine, but Buster Crabb's atmosphere grabbed us right away. Buzzing and cosy, with a pleasant bar area to sit in while waiting to dine. The Stanley Green IPA is possibly the best craft beer I have encountered anywhere in New Zealand - very English in style! And the food... More

Had dinner here on a job in Invercargill with friends. We had a drink at the bar then a Martini which was well made. A good wine list. The meals were all big and sides excellent a must for hungry people.

We were so well looked after by the excellent staff. The food was beautiful and with the great variety of drinks, we had a great night in a secluded room.

Amazing food an best chicken salad ever. Grt menu an desserts were decadent. Brulee was delicious an exceeded all expectations. Outside seating when weather permits. Staff an service grt too. A definite while you are in the city.

Took a client there for lunch good service oysters were overcooked and very expensive, seafood chowder was exceptional probably go back if not just for the chowder

We regularly dine at Buster Crabb and have always received great service and delicious food. I enjoy the blue cod the most however the pork belly is also really good.

A group of us were booked in for dinner for a birthday celebration. When placing orders there were a few questions about items on the menu due to allergies. We asked if the prawns could be made without dairy, cooked in oil instead and we were told it couldn't be done. I would expect any good chef to be able... More

I got the chicken breast stuffed with a beautiful buttery mix of olives, and dried tomatoes, with garlic butter in the side, with duck fat potatoes. Meals turned up promptly even though restaurant was busy. Couldn't fault it. Too full for pudding.

A group of 6 of us went for tea and our whole table raved about their meals. The food was really outstanding. We have a lovely warm and inviting restaurant. We use all locally sourced product with very generous servings with an emphasis on the meat portion of the meal. Our steaks are 250gms up to the "Donald Trump Choker", which is 500gm and cooked slowly over 20 hours. We use fresh Blue Cod and locally caught wild Venison. Buster Crabb is the best choice
