Really hearty and quality food offered to us by The Saucy Chef. We had the beef cheeks and the hare for mains. Both were delicious and portions were extremely generous. Service was excellent. Will definitely return when we're next in Invercargill!

Have been in NZ a month now, north and south islands, eaten out every night, and this is without doubt the best meal I’ve had (duck). Great atmosphere, friendly staff, reasonably priced wine and delicious food with interesting veg accompaniments. Highly recommend👍👍

This restaurant never fails. Delicious food, delightful staff. Love the different food choices such as beefalo. Gourmet meals that don’t skimp in size but are well priced. Lovely surroundings- not too noisy even when full due to the separated areasMore
