Quite disappointed in this place the potatoes were still hard and the carrots were frozen baby carrots the peas had been boiled to an inch of their lives and the ham and lamb was overlooked. Won't be rushing back that's for sure. Though the staff a bit scruffy for front of house

Me and my partner arrived here for a meal without a booking which was no problem. I had the salmon and it was yummy! Other person had a steak which was cooked well. Service was great, can tell the staff are eager to make sure you comfortable and having a good time.

Staff were nice, but food was average. A little expensive. Enjoyed looking out above the houses. They could work on presentation in the restaurant and professionalism.

I have never had bad service like this in my life. We were the only three in the restaurant at the time. We had to wait ages to get our entrees. After three quarters of an hour we had to ask where our entrees were. Same happened whith the mains. The main meal was disgusting. I expect a better presented... More

Went to Ainos as always enjoyed their meal, knew it was under new management what a disappointment got Steak Diane, although steak cooked ok, the sauce was terrible, like they had opened a can of something and chucked it over the steak, chips rather soggy, and the salad if you can call it that, was barely anything, the price we... This would have to be the worst dining experience I have had. The place was freezing. I asked for the heating to be turned up ...nothing happened so I ate with my rain coat on. The steak was awful and not cooked the way I asked. I could not get anyone's attention to ask for anything and no one came... More

Don't even bother! I think we were served re-heated leftovers from the previous night - fortunately this was a work function so the boss was paying. Most of the people in our group agreed that they wouldn't be returning.

We have dined here for years as we lived closeby but since it changed hands it has gone downhill. Twice we've had overcooked tasteless dry steak. Rcecently it changed hands again and started having buffets so we decided to give it another go. Well we won't go back! Seafood chowder was thin although tasted nice enough. Ham was salty almost... Ok, where do I start? We went as a group to have the buffet meal that was advertised. The Ham was salty and chewy as was the beef/lamb (not sure what it was), it was grey and I had a lot of trouble chewing and swallowing it. Put it this way, I am writing this at 10.30pm as I am... More

Took my mum here for her birthday dinner as we have dined here regularly over the last 35 years. Meals were always served with homemade fries, salad, pumpkin or carrots and peas. The menu is similar to years past although has slight changes. My mum and husband both had steak which looked great. Cooked very well. I had cordon Bleu... More
