    Food ok

    Food was ok not a great range on the menu staff friendly but seemed unorganised. Tables were unclean

    Great service and excellent value

    Had a really enjoyable and well priced meal. So much better than some of the try hard tourist traps around town. Cheapest kids meals anywhere. Not large but perfect for young kids. My ribs were well above par and drinks also well priced. Excellent service!

    Great value, we went a few times, Friday night was the busiest The all day happy hour was great and the outside area is all lit up at night so quite cool Staff were friendly

    Good prices and nice menu

    We had brunch/lunch here. Compared to other Queenstown restaurants the prices here are quite reasonable. They also have a large outside patio that is very popular.

    More affordable than it looks

    Set in a heritage building, from the outside it looks very pricey and high end, but actually it is very laid back and affordable. Has both indoor and outdoor seating.

    Cheap and Chaotic

    Cheap awesome drinks but not enough seats and tables and no heaters on outside as broken or empty has bottles. No live music which signs says there is out the front. Fire places not even turned on. Pay top dollar and enjoy the nice clean...More

    Excellent food, staff and happy hour

    1876 Bar and Restaurant is a distinctive & much valued landmark of Queenstown.The old stone courthouse building was erected between November 1875 and September 1876. The Old Courthouse is one of the few structures that survive from Queenstown's early gold mining days. Now over 130 years on 1876 offers an upmarket menu, relaxed atmosphere, great service & friendly staff. With the option of indoor and outdoor dining 1876 is definitely the place to be. During the winter season we will have live music between Wednesday and Sunday nights.
