Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very good food and service. We really enjoyed the tabbouleh salad and the Thai curry tofu dish. The bread starter was great! The only thing lacking was more menu options on the lighter/healthier side. I would go back to Ivy & Lola’s. Might try brunch...next time.More

Our party of 5 friends enjoyed a fine dinner here last night (November 19, 2023). Excellent service, tasty cocktails, and a wonderful dinner. Located among the many restaurants on Queenstown’s waterfront it is definitely worth a visit.

There are tons of restaurants in Queenstown so we had choices. We had lunch here and enjoyed it. The burger and fish & chips were tasty.

After we couldn't get into some other cafes around the town, we stopped here. So glad we did. The food and staff was amazing. The French toast donut was simply devine.

We had breakfast here - we both had eggs Benedict, one with salmon and one with bacon. We can honestly say it was the best eggs benny we have ever tasted! The service was quick and friendly. Would highly recommend for breakfast.

The service is terrible. The management of this restaurant should improve the service because it is extremely slow and unorganized.

We first ate here last year and had a great time and fish wings were great. We then visited here yesterday, a year later, and clearly things have gone downhill! Menu has been destroyed (tandoori fish wings - what is this abomination?) and service was...crap. We reserved a table near the fireplace and it wasn’t even on! Waiters treated us like common criminals so we left. Had a great dinner at madam woos instead. Don’t waste ur money at ivy and Lola’s; go to madam woos instead for great southeast Asian food!!More

Had a really relaxing informal dinner. Chose to share 3 of the starters and then split a main. Starters were the Gyoza, Calamari and Peking Duck pancakes - they were all cooked beautifully. The duck portion was generous and well seasoned and the calamari was...melt in the mouth. We had the smash burger and whilst the portion was good the burger meat itself lacked some seasoning and that real caramelisation that you would get for a true smash burger so was a little disappointed in this. We would still go back though as this was a very small thing and the whole atmosphere and everything else was perfect.More

I'd like to write a review on this restaurant but upon entering the relatively empty establishment we were told to 'Wait outside' ......in the freezing cold to be seated! Needless to say we walked away and went to a better establishment..

Amazing food - very generous portions and really tasty. Big breakfast is BIG! Service is also really good and staff are very friendly (thanks for the spoon!). Very pretty location by the lake, too. Perfect in every way 😊

Relaxed rustic dining - superb fare! We had the cob loaf and eye fillet - one of the best eye fillet dishes I've ever had. The Chef served up a beautiful medium-well and well done for us (yes yes we know!) and they were both...perfectly done. We went back a second time and had exactly the same thing.More

The food is edible but nothing special. As with most Queenstown restaurants they like to fleece you once because they know you’ll probably never be back.
